Mr. Richard Wu is the Vice President of the Technology Division at Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection Co., Ltd. (FETC), Taiwan. With over 20 years of experience in the tolling and intelligent transportation industry, he has played a pivotal role in the design and successful implementation of Taiwan’s Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) system, one of the world’s leading free-flow tolling networks. His expertise spans large-scale ETC system development, cost-efficient technology deployment, and intelligent transport systems (ITS) innovation.

Before joining FETC in 2004, he held key leadership positions at SYSTEX Corporation, where he managed government technology projects and national infrastructure initiatives. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and currently serves on the Board of Supervisors for ITS Taiwan. Mr. Wu continues to advance the future of mobility through digital innovation and system integration excellence.
