Prof. Ts. Dr. Rosli bin Hainin is the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and a distinguished academic with over 35 years of teaching and research experience. His expertise lies in pavement materials, highway engineering, and infrastructure design.

He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Auburn University’s National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT), a Master’s in Highway Engineering from the University of Kansas, and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Clemson University, South Carolina, USA.

He has published more than 400 research papers in reputable journals and has contributed extensively to national and international studies on pavement innovation, durability, and sustainability. Prof. Rosli continues to lead advancements in Malaysia’s road and pavement technology through academic leadership, research excellence, and industry collaboration.
