Mr. Muhammad Nizam bin Alias is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Amanat Lebuhraya Rakyat Berhad (ALR). With more than two decades of experience in transportation and infrastructure leadership, he has driven major transformations in operational excellence, policy development, and service innovation.

Prior to joining ALR, he held key positions at Prasarana Berhad, including Group CEO and COO, where he led comprehensive cost optimisation and service enhancement initiatives that boosted RapidKL ridership and achieved record revenues. Earlier in his career, he also served with PLUS Berhad as Head of Toll Operations, pioneering operational technologies and process efficiencies. Mr. Nizam holds a Bachelor of Business from Monash University, an MBA in Techno-Entrepreneurship from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Financial Criminology at Universiti Teknologi MARA.
