Ir. Fam Yew Hin is a Board Member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and chairs its Corporate Communications Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield.

Over his career, he has held senior roles in Malaysia’s energy and engineering sectors, including roles at national utilities and independent power producers. Fam also serves on the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia and is active in engineering education and accreditation outreach.

In his current capacity, he leads BEM’s efforts to strengthen public engagement, industry communications and professional practice standards across the country.
