Adjunct Prof. Haji Mohammad Shahrizal bin Mohammad Idris is the Deputy President of the Malaysian Association of Facility Management (MAFM) and a founding member of GFM Services Berhad, a leading integrated facilities management company in Malaysia.

With over two decades of experience in the field, he has been actively involved in shaping Malaysia’s facility management landscape through policymaking, standard development, and professional training. His contributions include participation in the formulation of the Government Asset Management Policy, serving on the ISO Technical Committee 267 for Facilities Management, and advising CIDB on industry skill frameworks.

Recognised for his expertise, he has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Universiti Teknologi MARA, and serves on the Industry Advisory Committees of several local universities. His leadership continues to strengthen Malaysia’s asset and facilities management ecosystem through advocacy, education, and professional excellence.
